Honors at Commencement

The honors that will be announced for you at Commencement are preliminary and will be based on your cumulative grade point average (Cum GPA) at the conclusion of fall semester 2012.

To qualify for honors a minimum of 56 units will have been completed at Westmont by the end of spring 2013 semester. Work completed at Westmont sponsored off-campus programs is included in the honors calculation.

The honors categories are:

• 3.90 and above - Summa cum laude
• 3.75 – 3.89 - Magna cum laude
• 3.50 – 3.74 - Cum laude

Final Honors

The honors printed on your diploma and transcript will be based on your cumulative GPA at the conclusion of spring semester 2013, or at the time all of the work you have completed at Westmont is posted to your academic record.
