President's Receptions

Immediately following Commencement, President and Mrs. Gayle Beebe invite you to attend a President’s Reception. This is where family and guests should plan to meet your graduate. If the graduate has more than one major they need to let you know in advance which reception they choose to attend. Balloons along the pathways will help guide you to your graduate’s major reception.

The receptions are casual, come and go, with no agenda. This is a chance to meet with professors and other graduate families/friends in the graduate’s field of study. Light refreshments will be offered and some chairs will be available for those who may not be comfortable standing.

Social Science majors may follow the blue balloons to the front patio of Murchison gymnasium, Humanities majors may follow the red balloons to the side lawn of the Adams Center, and Natural and Behavioral Sciences majors may follow the yellow balloons to front lawn of Winter Hall.
