Statement of Purpose
Westmont College is dedicated to the development of the whole person. The college's unique academic community provides many opportunities for both nurture and challenge within a Christian context. The Counseling Center welcomes all students. The Counseling staff is professionally licensed and committed to providing high quality, short-term counseling services. The staff treats each student with respect and dignity, and upholds a professional ethic regarding confidentiality. Information shared in the counseling sessions is not available to anyone outside the Counseling Center; therefore it has no relationship to disciplinary action.
