About Spring Sing
Spring Sing is a competition between the five dorms on campus who are further divided by gender (except for Emerson Hall) to make 9 houses. Each 'house' creates a story that is then presented to an audience of family and friends through song and dance. Spring Sing involves more students than any other Westmont activity throughout the year and is a beloved tradition that helps to foster community among dorm residents. Westmont Spring Sing has its roots in a show of the same name done at UCLA each year. We began to do our own version in 1961, and the tradition has continued to grow and thrive. It has evolved into a show run almost entirely by students and is the largest-scale production that Westmont puts on each year.
Westmont is excited to celebrate Spring Sing 2012, the 51st year in production.
