Coach: Patti Cook
Patti Cook is in her 3rd year as Head Coach of Westmont Volleyball. Prior to that, she was an assistant in the program after graduating with a computer science degree from Westmont in 2004. While playing for Westmont, Cook was the GSAC Player of the Year, three-time NAIA All-American and she still holds the all-time career kill record at Westmont with 2,079. While serving as an assistant coach for the Warriors, she played professionally on the beach with the AVP tour.
Asked about her vision for the volleyball program Cook replied, “I want to help prepare the wonderful young women involved in the program for life outside of college. I use the athletic platform to teach them life skills such as hard work, perseverance, composure in pressure-filled situations, and trust in God and teammates. Winning is important but how we win or lose and the attitude by which we do it is even more important.”
