The Westmont men’s and women’s basketball teams won GSAC Regular Season Championships and will host GSAC Tournaments at Murchison Gym as No. 1 seeds. The men, ranked No. 6 in the NAIA, finished the regular season two games ahead of No. 20 The Master’s and No. 16 Menlo. The women, ranked No. 3 in the NAIA, upset No. 2 The Master’s 56-44 on February 22 and finished the regular season one game ahead of the Mustangs. The men’s and women’s GSAC Tournaments March 5-7 in Murchison Gym.

The men (26-4, 15-3 GSAC) clinched their first outright GSAC regular season title since 2013 with a 91-74 victory over San Diego Christian (6-18, 2-15) on Senior Night on February 27. This is the men's basketball program has now won five GSAC Regular Season Championships. The Warriors will play their first GSAC Tournament game on Friday, March 7,  at 7:45 p.m. against the winner of Thursday's opening round between No. 19 Arizona Christian and William Jessup.

The women (25-3, 17-1 GSAC) sewed up the GSAC regular season with an 89-55 win over Hope International (19-9, 9-9) on February 27, eliminating any conference opponents from claiming a share of the regular season title. Iyree Jarrett poured in 23 points and dished off five assist for the Warriors while Maud Ranger tallied 18 points and 13 rebounds. The women's basketball program has now won five GSAC Regular Season Championships.

The Warriors play their first GSAC Tournament game on Friday, March 7, at 3:30 p.m. against the winner between fourth-seeded Hope International and fifth-seeded Menlo.
