Dave has had a very successful tenure during his time coaching at Westmont with more than 250 wins. He currently teaches a course in the Psychology/Sociology of Movement and has recently developed, along with Coach Russell Smelley, a new course which investigates the impact of Character Development on Leadership. In addition, he has taught numerous sections of Fitness for Life as well as a variety of activity courses (golf, tennis, and weight training). In 1998 his role changed to that of Athletic Director, a positiion he served in for 10 years (while continuing to coach the men's soccer team). In the fall of 2008, Dave moved away from the Athletic Director position and returned to a more traditional coaching and teaching role.
