Student Life Handbook: Policies and Procedures Use of Institutional Letterhead, Trademarks, and Trade Names
The Division of Enrollment, Marketing and Communications (EMC) approves the logo, letterhead and other Westmont insignia and identifying branding symbols, which should be used only for official business on behalf of the college. The Vice President for Student Life must approve the use of college symbols and stationery by students or student organizations as it might imply institutional endorsement of their activities. Private use of the Westmont logo, seal, insignia and symbols is not allowed. Creating new Westmont logos, iconic images or other marketing materials that is used to reach external publics must be developed by EMC. Please refer to Westmont’s Communication Guidelines here.
