Westmont in San Francisco
Ben joined the Westmont in San Francisco staff in 2021 after graduating from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. With a background in Religion and Secondary Education Social Studies and extensive experience with off-campus programs, he is a strong advocate for the transformative outcomes offered by experiential learning programs. He finds purpose in “helping others become the healthiest versions of themselves,” always looking towards who God has called us to be.
As an undergraduate, he participated in student government, residence life, campus ministries, and outdoor recreation programming. Outside of work, Ben eagerly consumes podcasts and books, especially on religion, politics, philosophy, sociology, and race. You can still find him rock climbing (indoors or outdoors) and biking around the city with students and/or friends.
