Major: Economics and Business, Psychology minor

Hometown: Auburn, CA

What is one resource students should know about?  The Off Campus Programs Office! I participated in Europe Semester and Westmont in San Francisco, and they have grown me more than any class or chapel speaker. There are so many programs and ways to fit them into your schedule. The Off Campus Programs Office is also very helpful.

Favorite class and why?  Marriage 101: Dr. Gurney is amazing and it is what made me want to be a psych minor. I have learned practical relational skills and new ways to communicate and handle conflict with my loved ones. She has helped reframe my naive thoughts on marriage and dating and presented healthy concepts of dating that I hope are spread to the rest of Westmont!

What should people bring and what should they NOT bring?  Literal: They should bring an extra phone charger. They should not bring a bike unless they genuinely think they will ride it. Figurative: They should bring an open mind to new experiences! They should not bring an attitude of comparing their college experience to their friends from high school because Westmont is very different than most schools.
