Tim Miller

Hi! My name is Tim and I am the Resident Director of Armington Halls. I grew up on the East Coast and have journeyed West for the past decade, making home in Chicagoland and Wisconsin, before arriving in Santa Barbara in 2018. In undergrad I served as a Resident Assistant at my alma mater, Wheaton College. After working briefly in marketing and publishing, I entered back into the Residence Life sphere at Wheaton while earning my Masters in Christian Spiritual Formation and Student Development. 

I love how my current role of Resident Director allows me to blend my passions for learning and personal development with my training and experiences in leadership, mentoring, and community building with emerging adults. I get excited when I can offer meaningful support and challenge to students in ways that contribute to their individual growth as well as their capacity to engage learning within a diverse community. In my free time you might find me cycling in the mountains, learning to surf, or perfecting my pour-over coffee technique. I hope to get to know you and the texture of your story.
