Mail Center Sending Mail to Westmont
Please carefully read the following information on labelling and sending mail so that it may be delivered promptly.
Please address all mail for students as follows:

*Please do NOT include “Westmont College” as part of the mailing address.
Parents making purchases on-line for your student: Please ensure that the shipper addresses the item to your student's name and addresses per the information above, and does not ship the package with YOUR name. This is a frequent cause for delays and/or returns to sender.

Students, please be sure to ALWAYS include your MS# with your address.
Faculty and Staff, please be sure to look up and use the MS# when sending student mail via Inside Mail.
**MAIL WITHOUT THE MS# MUST BE RESEARCHED AND CAN BE SIGNIFICANTLY DELAYED WHILE PROPERLY ADDRESSED MAIL IS PROCESSED FIRST.
All items must be addressed to the intended department, as follows:

(It is best to leave individual names off default addresses that will be used continuously)

NOTE: If you know the department is in Kerrwood Hall, please use zip code 93108-1089. This is helpful for some presorting the USPS local annex can do for us in advance.
Some very common delays of incoming mail are:
* Applications should be addressed "Attn: Admissions"
* Transcripts should be addressed "Attn: Registrar"
* Student account payments should be addressed "Attn: Student Accounts"
* Gifts should be addressed "Attn: Office of Advancement"
* Invoices should be addressed to the department that placed the order (more info).
Please make sure all of the required information (per above) is VISIBLE on envelopes, packing slips, AND shipping labels without requiring the envelope or package to be opened. Non-compliant packages that cannot be determined without opening the package are RETURNED TO SENDER.
If you are doing business with multiple departments, please address separately to each of those departments UNLESS you have discussed and set up central billing with the Office of Procurement.
Please direct any invoice specific questions or concerns to the department(s) with whom you are working.
About addressing to Westmont students (in case you searched to the wrong page)

*Mail addressed only to “Westmont College” or to a conference guest's name without "Conference Services" may be delayed or returned.
All shipping services may be utilized however, we recommend you do not use USPS Express Mail for overnight services. The US Postal Service does not deliver to Westmont - we retrieve our own mail and packages in the morning and then must still sort it throughout the rest of the day. For this reason, the USPS may not have the package processed before we pick up and it will remain at the USPS postal annex another 24 hours before we retrieve it. The USPS tracking site will show the package as "delivered" when they process it, but it may still be in their possession.
For GUARANTEED overnight service, please utilize UPS overnight or FedEx Express overnight options when shipping packages to Westmont College. Those services deliver directly to us in the morning, Monday through Friday. We process them that day for department mail delivery or student pickup by 4:00pm.
From the Los Angeles area or closer, UPS Ground or FedEx Ground will also deliver to us the next Monday through Friday morning.
Please do not pay for Saturday delivery with ANY service when shipping on a Friday because we will not receive it until Monday.
