Campus Life Urban Initiative: Common Application Information
Urban Initiative
Urban Initiative acts as a hub for community engagement at Westmont by introducing students to the realities of human suffering and mobilizing our community in thoughtful response. Urban Initiative also hosts both campus events and experiential opportunities - in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Navajo Reservation and in the Mexican border - to promote discussion and understanding of complex issues such as racism, immigration and poverty.
UI MISSION: Urban Initiative (UI) is seeking to equip and engage Westmont students to develop a Christ-centered heart in relation to human suffering service & ministry, by raising awareness and mobilizing our community in response.
