Voskyul Prayer Chapel Window
Westmont College is seeking artist submissions for new imagery that will be rotated quarterly on display in our campus Voskuyl Prayer Chapel. The Prayer Chapel is a small, intimate space with the window (34.5" wide x 54” tall) as its main focal point. We will commission three images in this round of proposals, one for each of three themes outlined in the call for proposals (see the PDF linked below). We envision adding images in the future in order to continue to deepen and broaden the ways in which we and our students understand our faith, our worship, and the scope of God’s Kingdom.
Selected images will be digitally printed via an archival inkjet process onto plexiglass by master printers at Magnolia Editions in Oakland, California. Artists will retain both their original work and full copyright, and will simply grant a one-time perpetual usage license for a reproduction of the image to be displayed in the Prayer Chapel.
