Judy L. Larson holds the R. Anthony Askew Chair in Art at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, where she directs the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art and teaches courses in art history and museum studies. She completed a Ph.D. at the Graduate Institute of the Liberal Arts at Emory University, Atlanta. With over thirty years of museum experience, Larson has served as curator of American Art at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta; Director of the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia; and director of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, in Washington, D.C. At Westmont she has organized noteworthy exhibitions on Camille Corot and French Realism and Impressionism as well as several exhibitions on living artists, both local and international.
