The Developer Team

Adeline Ndacyayisenga

Adeline Ndacyayisenga is a rising Data Analytics senior from Rwanda. She is on the CATLab Developer Team, helping out with the Westmont Art Museum project for a few weeks and she will be a Salesforce intern at Slalom, LA for the rest of the summer. This summer, Adeline is hoping for a continual growth in all aspects. In her free time, Adeline enjoys biking, hanging out with friends and family, journaling/reflecting on the word of God and life in general.

John Panos

Focused, detail oriented, and easy-going, John Panos is a Computer Science major at Westmont and a Salesforce Developer at the CATLab. This summer he hopes to soak up as much knowledge as he can in order to apply it to the CATLab. He is also a mechanical keyboard enthusiast and outside of the CATLab, he loves building custom computers and servers.

Ethan Vaughan

Ethan Vaughan is a fourth year Computer Science student from Auburn, CA. At CATLab he is working on the development team attempting to improve the student experience here at Westmont. Most of his time this summer will be spent revising the nursing and teaching credential applications. He is an avid rock climber and has aspirations to climb many of the big walls in Yosemite Valley.

Trevor English

A Computer Science major at Westmont who hails from Santa Barbara, Trevor is eagerly anticipating his first summer as a developer for CATLab. Trevor began working with the Admissions Data Team and Salesforce during his second year at Westmont and will continue to cultivate experience in new ways with his team at CATLab. As a barista and Santa Barbara local, Trevor enjoys coffee, hiking in the sun, music production, and various other pastimes.

Levi Nelson

Hailing from San Clemente, Levi Nelson is a recent graduate from Westmont with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Levi is excited to branch out into the software development world, collaborating with others to build web components that other Westmont student and staff members will use for years to come. Levi also loves to do weight training after-hours to keep his physical and mental health in shape so that he can stay on his A-game when work comes around.

Payton Dugas

Payton Dugas is a senior studying music and computer science at Westmont. Payton is part of the Development team at CATLab and is excited to apply his creativity to new projects. In his free time, Payton enjoys an assortment of things; he's down to try any sport, and on a calm night you can almost always find him in the water or at least at the beach.  Surfing, biking, pickling, and floating on mattresses in the ocean are some of his favorite activities at the moment.

The Analyst Team

Tommy Mattson

Tommy is a fourth year Data Analytics and Economics & Business major from Redlands, CA. He is on the Admin/Analyst team as a Senior Salesforce Admin and hopes to help the team grow and innovate. He enjoys going to the beach, playing games, and watching sports.

Ben Arenchild

As a second-year analyst for CATLab, Ben is looking forward to applying some of the knowledge he has gained in his first three years at Westmont as a Data Analytics major. He is especially excited for the experience that he will gain using Salesforce as a sales tool, and a development experience. Outside of work, Ben loves to be in the outdoors, read books, and spend time exploring Santa Barbara.

Landon Moir

Landon is a fourth year Data Analytics and Theatre Arts major. They enjoy coding, coffee, game development, and directing. Landon seeks to make user's lives simpler through the tools they build, and strives to increase the power and agency of others through art and technology.

Bailey Hall

Bailey Hall is a rising third-year from Phoenix, AZ majoring in Mathematics and Data Analytics and minoring in Biblical Languages. She is continuing her role as an Analyst for her second year with the CATLab and is excited to build new skills while strengthening existing skills in data-related projects and Salesforce administration. Bailey’s other interests include playing piano, eating Korean food, doodling, and collecting houseplants.

Ethan Bañez

Ethan Bañez is a rising senior double major in Computer Science and Data Analytics hailing from Santa Barbara. He is currently working with the Data Analyst/Admin team creating reports and dashboards in Salesforce. His hope is that he will be able to learn as much as he can to create the biggest impact possible for him during his time at CATLab. Ethan really enjoys the simple things in life like reading, working out, and just hanging with his buds.

Anne Monique Uwamahoro

Anne Monique Uwamahoro is a rising second year Economics & Business and Data Analytics double major from Rwanda. As an Analyst, Anne is excited to learn and grow, especially as this is her first summer with CATLab. In her free time, Anne enjoys reading, loves the beach, and likes spending time with herself and friends.

Evan Grahn

Evan is a senior double major in Mathematics and Philosophy originally from Upland, California. Working for the analyst team, Evan will be doing a variety of responsibilities, with a focus on producing reports and dashboards he hopes to eventually work on UI/UX development. When not working at CATLab, Evan enjoys participating in the Westmont community along with going on hikes and spending time at coffee shops.

Morgan Mali

Morgan Mali is a rising third year Data Analytics major from Morgan Hill, CA. As one of the data analysts on the Analyst team, Morgan is excited to work on the art exhibits for the Museum and learn and grow as she gains more Salesforce skills. In her free time, Morgan likes to read, watch The Great British Bake Off and go on walks.

Adam Vekony

Adam Vekony is a third year Data Analytics major from Tucson, Arizona. As a member of the Salesforce Admin/Data Analyst team, Adam looks forward to learning the inner workings of the Salesforce platform and helping Westmont make intelligent, data-driven decisions. When he's not at work, Adam likes to read, go on runs, learn new things, and play board games.

Abbie Carter

As Westmont's only current Art History major, Abbie Carter is spending her summer writing artist biographies and piece descriptions for the works filling the Ridley-Tree Museum archives. Her main project is the Berkus Collection, a body of British and American contemporary art recently gifted to the college. With her French minor, job as an educator at the zoo, and participation in both college choir and orchestra, Abbie likes to stay busy, but is never too busy to talk about art!

The Creative Team

Aleah Schepps

Aleah is a rising fourth year Religious Studies major and Studio Art minor from Phoenix, Arizona. As a member of the CATLab Creative Team, she contributes her skills in photography, publication design, and printmaking. Both in and apart from her work, Aleah searches for opportunities to co-create through conversation, cooking, reading, and avant garde design.

Siena Keck

Siena Keck is a rising senior Sociology major and Environmental Studies minor from San Clemente, CA. As a member of the creative team, Siena is excited to share the mission and impact of CATlab and connect with coworkers and the broader Santa Barbara community through website and magazine design. In her free time, Siena enjoys running, surfing, and hopefully skating Greenwell hill in Summerland without "wiping out".

Simeon Michelson

Simeon Michelson is a rising third year History major from Nashville, TN. As the storyteller for the creative team, Simeon is excited to faithfully share the stories of the Summer as he learns more about his peer’s hopes and aspirations. In his free time, Simeon enjoys acting, racewalking, and taste testing the scrumptious selection at the CATLab snack bar (sadly, no cheetos).

Alexa Gatiss

Alexa Gatiss is a rising senior Economics and Business major and Studio Art minor from the Bay Area. Her role on the creative team varies from day to day, but her work lies somewhere between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Indesign. Alexa is looking forward to learning new skills and meeting new people this summer! Outside of work, she enjoys all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, especially hiking, running, rollerblading and of course, playing volleyball.

The Admissions Development Representative Team

Lexi Malone

Lexi Malone is a rising senior majoring in Sociology from Ventura, California. She is on the Admissions Development Representative team and hopes to build relationships with coworkers and incoming Westmont students. She is the captain of the volleyball team and enjoys going to local coffee shops with friends.

Blake LaBrie

Blake LaBrie, a Santa Barbara local, is a rising 4th year majoring in Economics & Business as well as Philosophy. One of the pioneers of the Admissions Development Representative team, Blake is excited to gain valuable Salesforce experience as well as join the ranks of those reaching out to the prospective future generations of Westmont students. When not working or attending classes, Blake can be found down at East beach playing volleyball every weekend and enjoys singing in the Westmont College Choir and Chamber Singers.

Connor Hess

Connor Hess is a rising third year Business Major from Santa Barbara, CA. He will be an Admissions Development Representative at CATLab this summer, and is looking forward to connecting with future students while learning all he can about Salesforce. While he’s not working hard in the office, he enjoys discovering food spots in town, spending time with friends, and enjoying Santa Barbara’s beautiful beaches and hiking trails.

Frannie Guida

Frannie Guida is a rising third year Psychology major from Redlands, CA. As a Admissions Development Representative, Frannie is looking forward to creating relationships with prospective students and creating events that invite these students into the Westmont community. In her free time, Frannie enjoys running and exploring new Santa Barbara parks.

Kaylie Jerdal

A rising senior studying Sociology, Kaylie Jerdal is stoked about joining the CATLab team this summer! She hails from Annapolis, Maryland and is particularly proud of her east coast roots. Eager about understanding people and fostering new relationships, Kaylie is joining the Admissions Development Representative team and is excited about the opportunity to share her Westmont experience with students and cultivate her technical skills. Outside of work, she is passionate about perfecting her avocado toast recipe, introducing people to conscious maximalism, organizing her life by color, and finding new beaches and lookouts to explore in Santa Barbara!

Lindsay Morales

Lindsay Morales is a rising fourth year Economics and Business major from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. As an Admissions Development Representative, Lindsay is excited to develop new strategies in promoting the college, while also cultivating authentic relationships with prospective students. Lindsay finds joy in hanging out with friends at the beach, hammocking, and loves a good cup of coffee.

Joseph Chandra

Joseph Chandra is a rising third year psychology major from Penang, Malaysia. As a part of the ADR team, he hopes to smoothen the transition of incoming students and create personal connections with others. Outside of work, Joseph enjoys running, coffee, and playing video games with his friends.

Anna Barbour

Anna Barbour is a 2022 graduate who majored in Sociology from Pittsburgh, PA. As a part of the ADR team, Anna is excited to get to work with students who are both looking and interested in Westmont College. She is looking forward to connecting with prospective students and sharing her Westmont story with them. In her free time, Anna enjoys going to the beach, hanging with friends, and starting her adult life as a graduate from Westmont.

The Staff Support

Zak Landrum

A Westmont alumni (‘08) and the Senior Director of Advancement Services at the college, Zak Landrum is the visionary behind the CATLab. He hopes that the program can create great solutions for Westmont’s admissions system and also empower students to “go get work in the Salesforce ecosystem.” When not at work, Zak spends his time raising three younglings, reading, and running.

Nancy Everest

Active, faithful, and a do-it-yourselfer, Nancy Everest is a staff member, an aspiring developer, and a mentor. She works as the Applications and Systems Developer/Analyst at Westmont College. Outside of work, she enjoys backpacking, reading, landscape design, cats, and roller skating—the last of which she used to do competitively in high school!

Charles Ryu

Charles Ryu is a passionate programmer from North Korea. Charles escaped North Korea twice all in his teen years, resettled in America when he was seventeen, and now works at Westmont College as a Mobile, Web-application, and CMS Developer. Charles has a big heart for refugees and wants to create a coding bootcamp for refugees alongside CATLab. 

Ryley Oroku

Ryley Oroku graduated from Westmont College in 2020 with a Computer Science degree and a Studio Art minor. He currently works in IT at Westmont as a Business Process Analyst and API Programmer. His day-to-day responsibilities involve maintaining, improving, and implementing new scripts, programs, and other services. He also assists in various development operations. In his free time, he likes playing bass guitar, going rock climbing, playing video games, and roller skating.

Korbin Breeden

Korbin Breeden is a current staff member at Westmont serving EMC as the Data and Communications Analyst. This summer Korbin is working alongside the pilot Admissions Development Representative (ADR) team. He is excited to bring enthusiasm, lots of calls, and Salesforce knowledge from an admissions mindset to the team. He also can't wait to see this team grow and enrich an applicant's college process. Korbin loves all things sports, coffee, and movies.

Adae Rehmke

As a Salesforce Administrator for the Westmont Office of Admissions, Adae Rehmke strives to provide a great experience for fellow users. Collaborating with the CATLab team to create a completely customized interface for admissions is a fun and edifying experience for her. She relishes in seeing the team’s outstanding innovation and hard work come to fruition. Outside of work, Adae enjoys cultivating an edible permaculture landscape around her home, but she especially loves spending time will her family on outdoor adventures or playing games.

Dominique Loftus

Dominique Loftus serves as the supervisor for the CATLab’s creative team. She also works at Westmont as the Marketing Production Coordinator. Her skills include video production, marketing, event planning, professional office administration and creative project management.

Caylie Cox

Caylie Cox graduated from Westmont in 2021 with a degree in English. She now works as Westmont’s Web & Digital Media Designer, managing the college’s entire web presence. She loves correct grammar, her two fluffy cats, and the social/personal side of technology. She collaborates with CATLab staff and students to ensure Westmont’s technological solutions are welcoming, engaging, and beautiful.

Alyssa Beccue

Alyssa Beccue is Westmont's graphic designer. Melding aesthetic and communication, she creates print, social, and web pieces that communicate the voice of the college and welcome people to the community. As a design mentor for CATLab's creative team, she is excited to see the team develop CATLab's voice through their creative output. Alyssa loves painting, burying herself in graphic novels, and playing D&D.

Neil Di Maggio

Neil Di Maggio is Director of Research and Prospect Management in the Office of College Advancement at Westmont. Although he also loves dogs, he is happy to be working at CATLab this summer. Together with the Data Analyst team, he is working to make sure Salesforce data is actionable and accurate according to the college’s business processes.
